I have no idea. I hope so. Either way, I love that he's a New York kid who grew up dreaming of coaching the Knicks. Mike Lupica has an excellent column today that gets into the history of Larry Brown and his idol, the great Red Holzman, who led the great early 70s teams with Walt Frazier, Willis Reed, Bill Bradley and Earl Monroe to a couple of NBA titles. It's long passed time for the Knicks to write themselves some new history. They are one of the classic franchises in all of sports, and they need to get up off the mat.
