What’s that old quote?  “Money doesn’t talk, it swears.”  Paul, we still love you, but hawking for Fidelity Investment?  Add this to the list of disappointments alongside Dylan appearing in a lingerie commercial, Daltrey in the Time-Life commercial, and Ringo appearing in the Pizza Hut ads. 

Ok, just kidding on that last one—no one was really holding Ringo’s feet to the fire.  But are there any icons left that haven't sold out for a quick buck?

Ringo Star smashed his Rolls Royce into the railings outside our flat in Kensington when I was a young lad. My dad went outside to see if he was OK and found him to be quite uninjured but completely smashed.
