Case in point (from The Hotline):
"I was sort of misconstrued the other day, and I certainly think that if someone has lied to an investigator, of course that is a crime."

Of course, that's some serious Senate-speak - declaring herself "misconstrued" and pretending to stake a bold position when in actuality she is repeating a simple fact, that perjury is a crime.
While our critics might claim that The Passenger played only a minimal role in extracted this admission of error out of Senator Hutchison, I still claim an unmitigated triumph.
